Sabrina Ergashova

Sabrina Ergashova is a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Corporate Governance

In 2020, after graduating from college, Sabrina chose the direction “World Economy and international Economic Relations” at the Tashkent State University of Economics for her future career. “Since school days, I already knew that I would be an economist,” Sabrina says.

But the scope of her activity is not limited only to the educational process. Starting from the first year, she actively participates in the life of the university, taking part in conferences, competitions and Olympiads, taking prize places. In the second year of her studies, she completed an internship at the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction. At the same time, she tries to participate in volunteer work, helping to organize international projects.

Last summer Sabrina was a member of the “Young Ambassadors Club” from the Embassy of Israel in Tashkent, and in 2022 she became a member of the “Young Diplomats Club” from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Sabrina is the holder of three scholarships, one of which is the National Scholarship of the Slovak Republic. She became the owner of this prestigious scholarship in June 2023 and will spend one semester at the University of Economics in Bratislava on the basis of a full grant in the following semester.

But, definitely, a huge contribution to her professional path was made by the faculty in which she studies. “I am grateful to our dean Ulugbek Rustamovich, vice deans and tutors for providing such excellent opportunities for students to gain knowledge and experience. During these 3 years, in addition to highly qualified teachers from Uzbekistan, we had teachers from Korea, Canada and America. They showed the highest level of knowledge and helped us master the subjects perfectly.”

In the future, Sabrina is planning to realize her career as an economist and contribute to the development of Uzbekistan by applying her skills and experience that she acquired while studying at TSUE at the Faculty of Corporate Governance.
